KHE RO - BAC GIANG

Khe Ro has a high elevation from northeast to southwest, with the highest peak of 650m. Geology is formed on the complex of sedimentary rocks, including the main rocks are sandstone, clay agglomerate, conglomerate and ancient silt. The soil is mainly Feranite from medium to thick humus content, rich in nutrients.

The stream river in Khe Ro is also a source of water for agricultural activities for An Lac commune and some neighboring communes through a system of self-flowing canals. With favorable natural characteristics, Khe Ru is home to many kinds of plants and animals, creating a rich forest population.

- The flora of Khe Ro has 786 species of plants, belonging to 496 genera and 166 families, which is considered to be a place of species diversity, diverse in the genus, plant families. The most typical are the tree species such as: muntjac, blue limon, bile dune, bamboo lanthanum, pine wood, pine cones, needles, kim flowers, incense, sliced ​​flowers, scales, leaves.

- The fauna of Khe Roi Forest has 226 animal species, including 51 species of mammals, 102 species of birds, 40 species of reptiles and 33 species of amphibians. There are rare species listed in the Red Book such as bear bear, chamois, sun bear, leopard, yellow turtle, pangolin ... especially the species of "doggy" that the world is almost extinct. .
